Just around the corner

Honey, I can feel it. I can feel it. Right around the corner! Itching for a break. For some relaxation. Itching, just itching. Spring break. Soon. Begins Thursday afternoon for me. I can feel it. Damn. Not the right moment for me to sound all poetic. You know what makes this feeling even better? A music band with a specific name. Do you know who I am talking about? No, not Guns N' Roses or Rage Against the Machine. Bruce "The Boss" Springsteen, that's who. Such great music for this time of year.

Anyone going to watch the Olympics? Hockey (not the NHL)? I guess I should blog about the pros and cons about hockey (with NHL players) in the Olympics. Maybe later this week when I have ample time.

I don't know man something deep down inside tells me that Canada won't win gold. There's something about their team I don't like, I find they have too many similar plays and not enough role players.

Every player plays a dirty offensive game, but I feel they have no real meat and potatoes type of player except Bergeron who can actually play a shutdown role.

Ya I get what you're saying. Not to knock down any of the players, but there are too many offensively f=gifted minded players in the lineup and hardly any good checking/two way players. The thing about Bergeron is that he may be playing the wing with Crosby instead of his Center position. The team looks way too powerful, which in most cases tends to fall apart easily. The US don't have a better team, but they do have plenty (atleast more than Canada) of role players. I think I will touch upon this in my next blog post later this week when I'm done my mid-term lol.

Yah I agree with the U.S comment. Their bottom 6 is perfect, it's full of grit and two way play.

There's just something about Canada this year that turns me off.

Upset that Cammalleri wasn't invited? lol. It's a shame Savvy wasn't. The Russians are Dangerous. I just hope no Bruins players get hurt. The last thing we need are more injuries!! Oh, and first game back is Montreal vs. Boston. RASK vs. PRICE???? That would be something.

It's funny there are three guys that weren't invited that would have probably made a mental line

Cammalleri Savard Fischer

but you know Cammy and Savvy didn't make it bc they are small.

Canada vs. Norway tonight - Luongo in goal. Makes sense. Luongo playing in front of fans who may very well be Canuck fans. I would love to watch Bergeron, but I don't think I will be able to watch anything because of this damn exam I have to study for, which is on Thursday).
Maybe when the Olympics is over Julien will try putting Bergeron on Savvy's wing. LMAO, ya I don't think so.

How do you feel about luongo starting?

To be honest I'm fine with it because we have 3 solid goalies. The only problem is the amount of games they have played for their NHL team. They may get tired or burnt by the end of the month. If not, then by playoff time they may very well be. On the US side, Thomas' season performance may be a blessing in disguise for Boston because he may not even play a single game. Hell, he hasn't played in over a week (the last 5 Bruins games).

I wish I can watch Bergeron play right now, but I am stuck re-organizing notes and studying :(

What about you?

Yah man I'm studying also, it sucks.

I've seen a couple of minutes here and there and the Norway goalie...I don't know if he's just lucky because he's pretty good.
