Here is another book I am in the middle of reading: I must complete this 370 page novel by friday. So far I have read 145 pages and I feel somewhat neutral to the novel. The first 60-70 pages were boring and slow, then it started to pick up pace for a while before sinking into another hole of boring detail at around 100-110. However, the last 20 or so pages have been interesting: two young twins have run off, a passionate (making love, close to sex) scene between Robbie and Cecilia and a furious little girl by the name of Briony.
Sunday: 1-70 (70 pages)
Monday: 71-145 (74 pages)
Tuesday: 146-209 (73 pages)
Wednesday: 210-287 (77 pages)
Thursday: 288-370 (82 pages)
Here is a quote from the novel;
"In my dreams I kiss your cunt, your sweet wet cunt. In my thoughts I make love to you all day long" (86).
